EPC, GAS & ELECTRIC SAFETY
EPC - An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) provides you with information about how energy is used in a home or business premises, as well as the cost of the energy used. In certain situations, an EPC is a legal requirement which benefits everybody, as the ‘recommendation report’ included in the certificate suggests how to reduce the amount of energy spent. The EPC of a building’s performance is rated by three factors:
- Energy use per square metre of floor area.
- Energy efficiency based on fuel costs.
- Environmental impact based on carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
